Legal Administrator/Receptionist Cork

One of Irelands Leading Law Practices with offices in Ireland, UK and USA are now seeking a proactive Legal Administrator/Receptionist to support their team in the Cork office across legal admin, compliance, and client-facing duties. This role will play a key part in supporting high-volume areas while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The firm acts for companies across all industry sectors and the lawyers at the firm are recognised for their ability to work through complex challenges and provide innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team and manage the full file lifecycle.
  • Assist with drafting letters (training provided), AML follow-ups, and file archiving.
  • Coordinate billing, prepare meeting materials, and manage diaries.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure files are kept up to date.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide reception cover as required, including greeting clients and preparing meeting rooms.
  • Ensure a high standard of client service (e.g. refreshments, meeting room setup).
  • Assist with deeds, wills safes, banking, posting, and general office duties.
  • Provide support across teams, including new homes work during busy periods.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a Legal Secretary/Administrator role.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a legal environment.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and billing platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to handle varied responsibilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive, flexible, and client-focused approach.
