The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of the business, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board
- Lead and develop the global legal function
- Partner with the business to deliver commercial, pragmatic legal solutions
- Support international growth, M&A activity, and transformation initiatives
- Drive a strong culture of governance, compliance, and risk management
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global legal strategy aligned to business objectives
- Lead corporate governance and compliance across jurisdictions
- Oversee complex commercial contracts and negotiations
- Support M&A, restructuring, and strategic projects
- Provide guidance on employment law and workforce strategy
- Manage legal risk, disputes, and regulatory matters
- Build and mentor a high-performing legal team
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with significant in-house or corporate experience
- Proven experience operating at senior leadership or Board level
- Strong background in commercial contracts, compliance, and risk
- Experience in international or multi-jurisdictional environments
- A hands-on, commercially minded leader who can influence at all levels
