We are looking for a mid-level Legal Counsel (4–8 years PQE) to join a past expanding investment bank in their legal team. This is a great opportunity for a lawyer with a strong background in financial services—ideally with experience in wealth management/ retail brokerage.
Summary of the role and key responsibilities
- Provide legal support across wealth management, securities trading, digital assets, capital markets, and global markets
- Advise on product structuring, distribution, client arrangements, and regulatory matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and transactional documents
- Work closely with business teams to support new initiatives and manage legal risk
- Keep the business updated on legal and regulatory changes
- Help maintain internal policies, templates, and know-how resources
- Manage external counsel and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 4-8 years PQE gained at private practice or in-house roles
- Strong experience in financial services, preferably wealth management or capital markets with digital assets being a strong advantage
- Commercially minded with sharp analytical and drafting skills
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with sound judgment
