Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Director of Municipal Contracts and Grants. The Director will maintain Municipal contract management, including renewals and negotiating key terms. Responsibilities include record keeping, requesting bid proposals, applying for and tracking deadlines for applications. Work with team to monitor compliance of product and service. The Director will play a key role in supporting WasteZero's mission by securing the resources necessary to drive sustainability initiatives. Ideal candidate will be located in/ or near Connecticut/ Massachusetts area.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of contract law, liability and risk assessment
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating data and assessing opportunities
- Program Management experience to oversee grant-funded programs effectively
- Expertise in Budgeting and financial management related to grant funding
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Teamwork is expected
- Experience with non-profit or sustainability-focused organizations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Environmental Studies, or related field
