For our department General Serviceswithin General Services, we are looking for a (an):
Legal Counsel (m/f/x)
Main duties:
Draft/review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a particular focus on transportation agreements, IT agreements, services agreements, maintenance agreements and marketing agreements
Provide legal advice and recommendations on a large variety of legal topics (e.g. transport law, commercial law, consumer law, IT/IP law, Insurance law, labour law, data protection law)
Participate in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of compliance policies and procedures (including training)
Manage disputes and claims with third parties
Monitor and draft template agreements and group policies
Develop and provide legal and compliance training to the business
Assist, coordinate and give advice in various projects
Administration and contract management
Coordinate relationships with law firms
Required profile:
Minimum required criteria:
Master’s degree in law with specialization in business law, transport or tourism.
Minimum 5 years of experience gained as a lawyer or as an in-house legal counsel
Experience in transport/tourism and compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. (German is an asset)
Business minded and problem solver
Able to communicate at any level of the company and to explain complex legal issues in a comprehensible language
Flexible, stress resistant and have a positive attitude
Team player and have the capacity to work autonomously
Well organized and result-oriented
Desired or to be acquired criteria:
Specialization in transport / compliance
The ideal candidate:
Have knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language
