** Description**:
My client is a well established start-up in the wealth management/investment technology space. They have already raised signficant series fundings and are well backed by major firms. They are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the team. This position reports to a General Counsel and works closely with the management team. You will draft, review, and negotiate on a broad range of corporate commercial agreements.
In addition, you will also advise, from a legal perspective on matters pertaining to financing, fundraising, series funds, new partnerships etc. Some other responsibilities would include managing external counsels where relevant, potentially working with regulators to fulfil regulatory requirements, as well as working closely with the
regulatory compliance
team to provide legal oversight.
** Job Requirements**:
– 3-5
PQE, with LL.B. or J.D.
– Lawyers with background in financing, VC-related projects, or corporate commercial experience are welcome to apply
– Able to work in a fast pace and fluid environment
– Driven and hands on
