We have been mandated by a leading financial services institution to hire a Legal Counsel supporting corporate trustee, pension, and fiduciary services across a broad range of regulated products. Your new role
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, transaction documents, and legal agreements.
- Advise on investment products, trust structures, and regulated business activities.
- Partner with business teams to manage legal risks and support strategic initiatives.
- Track regulatory developments and provide practical legal guidance to stakeholders.
- Enhance legal processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and industry stakeholders as needed.
- Support corporate governance, due diligence, and other business-critical projects.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 2-6 years’ PQE, ideally within financial services, corporate trust, pensions, or investment-related sectors.
- Experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, and legal risk management.
- Prior team leadership or stakeholder management experience preferred.
- Strong drafting, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Hong Kong qualified lawyer preferred.
