Position: Legal Counsel for Energy Infrastructure
Support major infrastructure and energy projects across Canada as a Legal Counsel within our dynamic Legal Affairs team. Provide expert legal advice and management for complex contracts in the energy and environment sectors.

As a Legal Counsel specializing in Infrastructure, Energy, and Environment, you’ll engage in comprehensive legal support for contract negotiation and project advice. You’ll interact closely with project teams, ensuring timely delivery of legal insights throughout each project’s lifecycle.

Your role will also encompass reviewing RFPs and managing compliance with governance policies while working collaboratively with Claims and Litigation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support for complex contract negotiations

• Deliver practical legal advice to project teams

• Draft and review legal documents including contract templates

• Assess project risks and present findings to committees

• Collaborate on disputes with Claims & Litigation teams

Requirements:

• Member of a Canadian provincial Bar with 3+ years’ experience

• Proven expertise in commercial agreements in construction

• Strong risk management and business fundamentals

• Excellent communication skills in English and French

• Ability to work with multidisciplinary stakeholders
