At Melza Recruiting, we are looking for a Legal Counsel with a strong background in international commercial contracts to join a legal team that plays a central role in the business decision-making process of a fast-evolving pharmaceutical company.

About the Role
You will act as the legal advisor to the Sales Team, with a strong focus on negotiating and drafting commercial agreements with international partners across EU, US, MENA, and APAC regions.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex international contracts, including but not limited to: license & supply agreements, tech transfer, co-development deals, assignment agreements, consulting, tenders, and other service contracts.
Provide day-to-day legal guidance to senior leadership on commercial and operational legal matters.
Work closely with internal stakeholders in IP, Regulatory, R&D and Operations to provide legal input on cross-functional projects.
Support supply chain teams on legal issues related to distribution, flow of goods, and compliance.
Identify legal risks proactively and help implement risk mitigation strategies.
Lead and conduct internal legal trainings to improve contractual and legal awareness across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in private practice and/or in-house legal roles.
Solid background in contract law / law of obligations, ideally with exposure to the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Proven track record negotiating international commercial contracts.
Ability to work autonomously in a hands-on, business-facing role.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency both in English and Spanish is essential.
