The UK arm of a US listed Consumer Credit Tech firm are about to open an office in the heart of the City of London.
As such, they are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel. This is obviously a very important hire for the business as they are in start-up mode.
In summary you will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the following:
Contract Review & Negotiation
Regulatory Compliance
GDPR & Data Protection
Corporate Governance & Risk Management
Employment & HR Legal Matters
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
A minimum of 5 years PQE in a mix of a Law firm and in-house financial services
Strong knowledge of UK financial services law, especially credit and lending regulations.
Experience with contract review and negotiation across various legal areas.
