Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Legal Contracts Project Manager for our client, a wonderful environmental nonprofit organization in Washington, DC! In this role, you’ll role is responsible for managing and responding to requests via Happy Fox and Lexion, ensuring adherence to internal templates, legal guidelines, and accurate documentation. Additionally, the position involves proofreading board and donor documents, coordinating legal trainings for staff, and attending bi-weekly check-ins with attorneys to discuss priorities and new projects. This is a remote, part time (10-20 hrs/wk) contract for 3 months!

What you will be doing:
Manage and respond to legal requests and contracts through Happy Fox and Lexion.
Ensure staff compliance with internal templates, guidelines, and contract standards.
Proofread board and donor documents for legal accuracy.
Schedule and support legal trainings for staff.
Attend two half-hour check-ins weekly with attorneys for priorities and new projects.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field (JD preferred).
Experience in legal project management or contract administration, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills and experience with legal document management systems.
Must be available during Eastern/Central time for regular meetings
