You graduated law school, and you’re passionate about the music industry. We’re co:brand, a Toronto-based music distribution & marketing software company. You’ll get hands-on legal experience working on real music deals: artist contracts & distribution agreements, reporting to the Head of the department. This is an in-office role, and you’ll learn by doing, with a team that supports you.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
– Reviewing and drafting contracts across distribution, artist, and label services deals
– Supporting deal structuring and negotiation (with hands-on guidance)
– Researching music industry legal issues, rights, licensing, and more
– Maintaining contract templates and legal documentation systems
– Preparing briefings on contract risks and key terms
– Helping improve our legal operations and internal processes
YOU SHOULD HAVE
– Recently graduated from law school
– Real enthusiasm for music and the music business
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Good written communication skills
– Comfort learning independently and asking good questions

THE OFFER
$65,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits
