Position: LEGAL ASSOCIATE JK LAW CHAMBERS Practitioner | CBD | Â | Law Firm
Looking for young members of the Personal Injury and Property Damage (PI/PD) Bar (Plaintiff work) that are keen to take a MENTORED step into corporate commercial work.
JK Law Chambers is a young and
dynamic
law firm with a thriving PI/PD practice as well as corporate commercial work, including capital markets and listed company advisory work.
Work load diversification estimated to be 20-30% corporate commercial work with balance 70-80% PI/PD work.
What we offer
Mentorship and guidance for corporate commercial work, listed company advisory, and capital markets. Guidance will be given from both the legal and corporate finance perspective by senior solicitors and corporate finance professionals with decades of real-world and in-house experience. Opportunities will be provided for you to interact with listed companies, the SGX, and C-Suite executives as opportunities arise.
Flexible work arrangements
(WFH) are acceptable and a casual office working environment is provided.
Base salaries will be competitive with regular incentives for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Requirements Candidates will ideally have 2 years or more PQE in PI/PD experience. Candidates from both Plaintiff and Defendant sides of the PI/PD Bar are welcome.
We require an able pair of hands to take on the existing PI/PD work independently and to lead a team of experienced PI/PD supporting staff. Candidates should be able to deal with clients, manage all court papers, attend CDRs, PTCs, ADs, and all other court matters. Experience in general civil litigation is a definite plus.
