Legal Associate — High-Risk Industries Jobs in Ukraine at Digital Talent
Title: Legal Associate — High-Risk Industries
Company: Digital Talent
Location: Ukraine
We're hiring for an international legal consulting firm specializing in high-risk industries — iGaming, Crypto, FinTech, and Brokerage. They help clients get licensed, open accounts, incorporate companies, and navigate regulatory environments worldwide.
What you'll do:
- Independently run company registration projects across multiple jurisdictions
- Handle gaming, brokerage, and investment licenses end-to-end
- Open corporate accounts with foreign banks and EMIs
- Advise clients on legal & structural matters (senior support on complex cases)
- Spot legal risks in existing clients and pitch additional services (cross-sell)
Must have:
- 1+ year in international corporate law, FinTech consulting, or in-house at a high-risk company
- Proven hands-on experience opening bank/EMI accounts and/or registering companies in EU/Asia/offshore jurisdictions
- Law degree
- English B2+/C1 — confident on client calls, negotiations with banks, agents, regulators. Fluent Ukrainian & Russian
- Comfortable working without ready-made checklists or step-by-step guides
- Commercial mindset — can flag risks persuasively and close clients on extra services
- Strong self-management — 10-15 projects in parallel, deadlines met without reminders
- Resilience and proactivity with demanding clients
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of incorporation/licensing procedures in 2-3+ key jurisdictions: Curacao, Anjouan, Malta, Nevis, Labuan, Vanuatu, TOBIC, Isle of Man (iGaming); Costa Rica, St. Lucia, Seychelles, Mauritius, Cyprus (Brokerage); crypto licenses
- 2+ years specifically in consulting
- Understanding of iGaming or Brokerage regulation
- Based outside Ukraine (or valid deferral for men)
What's on offer:
- Real autonomy — you run projects, not assist on them
- Non-trivial jurisdictions and complex structures
- A team of practitioners, no micromanagement
- Room to grow both commercially and legally in an international practice
- If you've already handled accounts, registrations, and licenses independently — and a Friday evening call with a panicking client doesn't scare you — send your CV.
