Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Contract Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established personal injury firm in Santa Monica. This is an in-office position with an immediate start date, running through October 31, 2025, with the potential for permanent placement.
About the Role:
Provide litigation support to a high-volume personal injury practice
Assist with case management, discovery, trial preparation, and legal research
Work closely with attorneys to draft legal documents, review medical records, and coordinate with clients
Handle additional tasks as needed to support a busy legal team
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury
Strong knowledge of California court procedures and e-filing systems
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
Compensation:
$35-45/hour
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and seamlessly integrate with the team.
