Legal Assistant – Private Equity firm

Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its Luxembourg team, providing an opportunity to build on your legal administration or company secretarial experience within an international private equity environment. The role will involve supporting the administration of Luxembourg entities, coordinating with a range of internal and external contacts, and assisting with corporate and legal processes throughout the entity lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment, restructuring and closure of Luxembourg legal entities
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of bank accounts for Luxembourg entities
  • Coordinate with notaries, banks, public authorities and external advisers when required
  • Keep corporate records and entity documentation accurate, complete and up to date
  • Organise electronic and hard-copy files, including document filing and archiving
  • Prepare and submit corporate documentation to the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register
  • Coordinate signature processes, including arranging electronic and original signatures
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support to the legal and wider team

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in legal administration, corporate services, company secretarial support or a similar role
  • Experience within the Luxembourg market is a strong advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English; French or German would be beneficial
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint would be an advantage
  • Well organised and meticulous, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proactive and dependable, with a practical approach to solving problems and a genuine interest in developing your skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and remain composed in a busy environment
