Avian Law Group is a rapidly growing law firm. We started 2.5 years ago with five people who each left their big firm roots to create the next level law firm. We are now 28 people strong and looking to add 3 more people to the team.
This is not your typical law firm. No micromanagement. A lot of playing around. Comradery.
This means you have to be responsible and accountable for your work. You have to care about people. You have to be independently driven.
We celebrate when each other does good, we help each other do better, and we support each other when they need it.
In other words, we’re looking for good human beings who can do the work they commit to.
The work:
Reception
This is the hardest job at the firm. Mail comes in, you have to open it, scan it, file it appropriately. Some mail is very important, you need to recognize that and act on it. You’re in charge of all inbound faxes. You need to distribute them quickly and regularly. Then you have outbound mail which needs to be addressed correctly, stamped correctly and sent.
When clients call, you need to provide good service, figure out where those calls are supposed to be directed, and get them to the right person.
And you have to do all this with a bubbly personality!
More formally your job duties are:
Primary duty: Answer inbound telephone calls primarily from existing clients, opposing counsel, and vendors. Direct them to the appropriate department. Opening and scanning mail. Distributing faxes.
Secondary duty: Speak with prospective new clients regarding the details of how their injuries occurred. Creating the client file.
No experience necessary, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Must be able to type well. Must be able to speak English and Spanish at a fluent level.

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
