About the Role
We are filling two distinct positions. Both require Japanese-English bilingual proficiency, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow within a firm that actively promotes from within.
Responsibilities for Each Role
Paralegal (2+ years experience preferred)
- Manage and develop immigration cases alongside attorneys
- Draft legal documents including petitions and supporting briefs
- Communicate case strategy and updates to clients
- Prior experience in business immigration is preferred — we will build on what you know
Legal Assistant (No legal background required — full training provided)
- Correspond directly with clients and review their documents
- Prepare visa and green card applications for US government agencies
- Partner with paralegals and attorneys on every active case
Qualifications
Fluent in Japanese and English — written and spoken
Required Skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative team player who communicates proactively
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with documents and deadlines
- Genuine interest in helping clients navigate life-changing immigration processes

Schedule & Benefits
- Hybrid schedule: remote on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; in-office Mondays and Thursdays
- Flexible hours: Monday through Thursday 9:00–18:00 with flexible start and end times; Fridays 9:00–14:30
- The last two weeks of December are fully paid time off, in addition to all federal holidays and additional accrued PTO
