1. Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Legal Specialist to support key business verticals including Loyalty Programs, Financial Services (e-wallet, payments), Data Protection & Privacy, and Corporate Legal.
This role will act as a strategic legal partner, ensuring regulatory compliance while enabling business growth and innovation.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Loyalty & Marketing Programs
- Advice on design and implementation of loyalty programs, rewards schemes, promotions, and customer engagement campaigns
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws on promotion, advertising, and consumer protection
- Structure legal frameworks for partnerships (brands, merchants, platforms)
- Identify and mitigate risks related to fraud, abuse, and gaming mechanisms
B. Financial Services / Fintech
- Provide legal support for payment services, e-wallet, fintech products
- Advise on regulatory requirements, licensing, and compliance frameworks
- Draft and review agreements with banks, payment intermediaries, fintech partners
- Support product launches with a compliance-by-design approach
C. Personal Data Protection
- Advise on personal data protection laws and cross-border data transfer
- Review data flows and support implementation of data governance frameworks
- Draft/review privacy policies, data processing agreements (DPA), consent mechanisms
- Work closely with tech and product teams on data-related risk mitigation
D. Corporate & Commercial Legal
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
- Support corporate governance, restructuring, and internal compliance matters
- Coordinate with external counsel when required
- Provide legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders
3. Requirements
- 7–10 years of legal experience (law firm + in-house preferred)
- Strong exposure to at least 2 of the following areas:
- Loyalty / marketing / promotion programs
- Financial services / fintech / payments
- Data protection & privacy
- Corporate & commercial law
