As a Compliance Research Associate you will be responsible for the following:
Providing research and analysis on federal matters such as the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, FDA Guidances (Draft & Final), Drug Quality and Security Act, OIG Advisory Opinions, Sunshine Act (CMS Open Payments), HIPAA / HITECH, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), US Controlled Substances Act, and the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing research and analysis on state matters such as transparency and disclosure requirements, prescriptive authority, record retention requirements, marketing prohibitions, compliance program requirements, drug sampling, loss / theft reporting requirements, and anti-kickback laws.
Finding, tracking, summarizing US and state legislation as it relates to the pharmaceutical industry
Writing, editing, and creating internal and client memorandums on the impact of the laws, regulations, and legislation
Updating our proprietary online legal law library utilized by clients
Keeping abreast of news, blogs, and case law and providing relevant updates internally and to clients
About You:
You have a J.D
You have excellent research, analysis, writing, and editing skills
You can communicate effectively, professionally, and efficiently
You adapt quickly to an ever-changing work and regulatory environment
You have superior work-ethic
