Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic firm in Santa Monica, CA.
This well-regarded firm is looking for an experienced litigation attorney to manage and lead its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in handling complex litigation matters, along with strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the firm’s litigation team, providing strategic oversight and mentorship.
Handle all aspects of litigation, including case development, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
Serve as the primary contact for clients, developing case strategies and providing expert legal counsel.
Supervise and collaborate with associates, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Actively contribute to the firm’s growth by managing a growing caseload and developing business.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm, with a strong focus on complex cases.
Experience in managing and mentoring a team of attorneys and support staff is highly preferred.
Strong skills in legal research, writing, and advocacy in the courtroom.
Located within the greater Los Angeles area or willing to relocate.
Active and in good standing with the California Bar.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary (confidential, with the potential for negotiation).
Full-time, onsite position with the opportunity to transition to hybrid work after 6+ months.
