We are a Sacramento Law Firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation Defense. We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our firm. This is an in-person position. Full-time position available immediately.
Responsibilities
Position is working as a Legal Assistant for 2 attorneys in the field of Workers’ Compensation Defense. Duties will include calendaring, scheduling depositions and medical evaluations, transcription, e-filing documents with the WCAB, maintaining files, and other administrative duties.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include full medical insurance paid for employee, vacation/sick leave, 401k plan (with employer contribution). Free parking.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Knowledge of workers’ compensation terminology is a plus. Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat/Foxit PDF, and have general computer skills. Fast and accurate typing is a must. Experience navigating a case management system is a plus.
Prior experience is not required, but candidate must be motivated to learn new tasks, skills, and systems. Training will be provided.
