Your Role
As the Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and be able to identify areas of risk and opportunity.
Your Team
You will be working in the agile and dynamic environment of Solutions Valley. The Legal Advisor will work closely with finance, operations, and human resources to ensure legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs are aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs of the organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity and implement changes
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies
- Provide legal advice and support to the organization
- Collaborate with departments to align legal matters with business goals
- Manage crisis management and business continuity planning activities
- Undertake legal and governance responsibilities in relation to the Board and its committees, including review of board resolutions, minutes, and related documentation.
Experience / Skills / Abilities
- 7+ years of experience in legal and regulatory affairs
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage complex legal and regulatory matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
Desired: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
