Administrative Assistant to the Managing Attorney

Location: Wall Street, Manhattan, NY
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person
Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 per year

About Us

We are one of New York City’s most high-profile and successful personal injury law firms, located in the Financial District. We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Administrative Assistant/para to support our Managing Attorney. This role demands exceptional administrative skill, strong judgment, and the ability to manage high-level legal and operational matters in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the Managing Attorney’s business calendar, including meetings, court dates, deadlines, and follow-ups

· Serve as the point of contact for internal staff and external parties requesting access or time

· Handle all incoming calls, emails, and scheduling requests with appropriate prioritization

· Use Microsoft Outlook and Asana to enter, assign, and track tasks to completion

· Draft executive-level correspondence, internal memos, reports, and meeting materials

· Maintain and update the Managing Attorney’s contacts and professional records

· Coordinate with medical offices, experts, and court staff as necessary

· Prepare internal compliance and operational reports as directed

· Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting attorneys or executives, preferably in a legal or professional services environment

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Familiarity with Asana or similar project/task management tools

· Exceptional communication and organizational skills

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and operate with efficiency under pressure

· Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and occasional weekends

· In-person attendance is required; remote work is not offered for this role
