Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Advisor role based in Mangalia. The Legal Advisor will provide day-to-day legal support on commercial, contractual, and operational matters related to onshore, offshore, and shipbuilding projects. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, and advising management and project teams on legal risks and mitigation strategies. The role will involve handling labor and employment law matters, supporting dispute resolution, and coordinating with external counsel when needed. The Legal Advisor will also help develop and update internal procedures, templates, and training materials to promote legal compliance and risk awareness across the organization.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Law and ability to interpret and apply relevant national and international regulations.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation and handling Legal Issues related to commercial and technical contracts.
- Proven ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to management and project teams.
- Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, preferably in an industrial, construction, or marine environment.
- University degree in Law; bar admission or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Experience in contract law, commercial law, or construction/shipbuilding law is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Mangalia, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
