Our client, a leading international intellectual property law firm are looking to appoint a Team Administrator to join their finance team in Leeds. You will be reporting to the Senior Credit Controller, responsible for supporting fee earners, clients and suppliers, ensuring the smooth running of the team, assisting with financial processes, and providing essential support to the firm’s accounts and credit control function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, ideally within a finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with invoice processing, payment runs, and financial transactions.

Respond and escalate customer queries.

Releasing invoices, and completing credit control supplier requests.

Sending out tax letters and preparing financial reports.

Providing payment and cost advice to send to clients.

Using SAGE and cross-checking records, making sure details are accurate and done in a timely manner.

Managing the Accounts and Credit Control inboxes.

Working closely with internal teams.

Maintaining accurate financial records and updating databases.

Supporting month-end and year-end financial procedures.

General finance ad hoc duties, including filing, document management, and correspondence.

Skills Required:

Prior experience in administration, ideally in finance or professional services.

High attention to details and high quality of accuracy.

Proficient on the Microsoft Office Suite and is able to handle a high volume of data.

Experience of working to tight deadlines.

Strong self-organisational ability.

A team player, supportive of those around them.

Comfortable dealing with numbers and figures.

Personable and able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.
