Peak Partners has an established mid-size Baltimore law firm client who is seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant with at least five years of experience to join its Energy and Environmental Team. As a key member of the firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and paralegals by managing environmental cases, ensuring all case-related documents, records, and correspondence are accurate and up to date. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced and collegial team that handles a wide array of regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to assigned attorneys and/or paralegals
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
Handle incoming calls, emails and mail, directing them to the appropriate personnel
Maintain up-to-date and accurate notes in the firm’s advanced case management system
Efficiently handle the opening and processing of cases/files, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained
Request and organize supporting documentation
Meet and take phone calls with clients daily for both follow-up and/or new intake
Required skills:

Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in a law firm setting
Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and filing with regulatory agencies, a plus
Experience with managing attorney calendars/ scheduling, and drafting documents including correspondence, pleadings, binders and reports is required
Proficiency in document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe needed
Excellent organizational and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
