A Contract Delivery Service provider for the United States Postal Service is currently seeking applicants for a CONTRACT MAIL CARRIER (1099 POSITION)

THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR -1099 POSITION WITH NO BENEFITS
Must be available to start immediately upon hire
Schedule: up to 6 days per week
Pay: $26.00/per contract hour (contract hours vary)
Pay Frequency: Invoices are due by the 1st and 16th day of the month
REQUIREMENTS
Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift and carry 70 lbs.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
Must be able to pass a federal criminal background check and drug test
Must have a good driving record
Must reside in close proximity
Must obtain an EIN via irs.gov
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
Other duties are required.
PERSONAL VEHICLE USE MAY BE REQUIRED
