As the company expands its operations, partnerships, contracts, compliance work, and institutional engagements, we are looking for a capable Lawyer – Drafting who can support legal documentation, contract drafting, notices, agreements, policy documents, and business/legal correspondence.

Role Overview

The Lawyer – Drafting will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and refining legal and business documents for Innomax IT Solutions and its group initiatives. The role requires strong legal drafting ability, attention to detail, understanding of contracts, corporate documentation, and the ability to convert business discussions into legally sound documents.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and revise commercial agreements, service agreements, MoUs, NDAs, vendor contracts, consulting agreements, partnership agreements, employment-related documents, and other legal documents.

Prepare legal notices, replies, representations, applications, affidavits, declarations, undertakings, board-related drafts, and regulatory correspondence as required.

Support documentation for IT services, software development projects, AI/technology partnerships, government projects, startup collaborations, skill development programs, and institutional tie-ups.

Review tender documents, RFPs, EOIs, work orders, project terms, compliance requirements, and contractual obligations.

Assist in preparing internal policies, privacy policies, terms of use, data protection documents, HR policies, vendor onboarding formats, and compliance checklists.

Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, company secretaries, auditors, government departments, clients, and internal teams when needed.

Maintain proper legal documentation records, version control, contract trackers, and follow-up notes.

Conduct basic legal research on corporate laws, IT laws, contract law, data protection, labour laws, startup regulations, and other relevant areas.

Support the management in legal risk identification and provide practical drafting inputs before finalizing business commitments.

Required Skills

Strong command over English legal drafting.

Good understanding of contract law, corporate documentation, commercial terms, and business correspondence.

Ability to draft clear, structured, and professional documents with minimal supervision.

Attention to detail, confidentiality, and disciplined document management.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into legally protective documents.

Familiarity with Indian corporate laws, IT/technology contracts, data protection concepts, employment documentation, and dispute-related drafting will be preferred.

Good research skills and working knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, PDF tools, and document formatting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

LL.B. / LL.M. graduate with strong drafting skills.

1–5 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal team, legal consultancy, technology company, startup ecosystem, or independent legal drafting practice.

Experience in drafting agreements, notices, MoUs, commercial contracts, legal replies, and policy documents.

Candidates with exposure to IT companies, SaaS contracts, AI/technology agreements, government tenders, skill development projects, or startup documentation will be preferred.

Freshers with exceptional drafting ability, internships, moot court exposure, research publications, or strong legal writing samples may also be considered.
