Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer role based in Quezon City. The Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice, preparing and reviewing contracts and agreements, conducting legal research, and representing the company on legal matters. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal regulations, handling litigation cases, addressing land title concerns, and collaborating with other departments on policies and procedures. The Lawyer will also work closely with the leadership team to mitigate risks and resolve legal issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL
- Assist the head of the Legal Department in all matters assigned to the Department and in conducting legal and factual research on assigned cases.
- Provide legal advice and assistance on various legal queries and matters to all the Departments of the company.
- Supervise and assist the legal assistants in the performance of their assigned tasks.
- Perform such other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Legal Department.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Process, document, and monitor legal requests for drafting and/or reviewing legal documents.
- Draft and/or review requested contracts, legal opinions, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate and communicate with external parties for contracts, agreements, and legal documents, if necessary.
- Assist the concerned Department of the company in the interpretation of legal provisions and terms of the agreements.
CORPORATE HOUSEKEEPING
- Assist and coordinate with the corporate secretary to draft and review corporate documents.
- Assist in the maintenance and update of corporate records.
- Perform all the duties and responsibilities of the Corporate Secretary in the absence and unavailability of the latter.
LITIGATION AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
- Execute, implement, and manage any special project as may be assigned and required by the Head of the Department.
- Handle active cases, including civil, criminal, labour, and/or administrative cases.
- Conduct factual and legal research on assigned cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents to be submitted before the court or administrative bodies.
- Represent the company in administrative and judicial hearings, including mediation and conciliation proceedings before the court or other government agencies.
- Collaborate with the concerned departments on strategies regarding legal actions or cases.
- Interview and prepare witnesses for court proceedings.
- Ensure complete and organized record of assigned case files.
