About The Firm:
We are partnering with a well-established boutique personal injury and civil litigation law firm.
They specialize in a variety of matters including car accident injuries, slip and fall accidents, occupiers’ liability, dental and pharmacy malpractice, sports injuries, life insurance claims, international airline injuries, off-road vehicle collisions and catastrophic and serious injury claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of ICBC and personal injury files from intake through settlement or trial.
- Draft pleadings, demand letters, legal opinions and settlement correspondence.
- Conduct examinations for discovery, attend mediations and appear at chambers applications.
- Communicate directly with clients, adjusters and opposing counsel.
- Work closely with Founding Partners and Counsel on high-value and catastrophic injury matters.
- Negotiate settlements with ICBC and private insurers.

Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' call experience in personal injury and civil litigation. If you are a senior litigator, please still apply as they welcome experienced candidates.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Track record of managing your own files.
- Knowledge with the ICBC enhanced care model.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative and self-motivated mindset and attitude.
