Position Overview
The Texas A&M School of Law seeks an energetic and outgoing Law School Recruiter to support the admissions department in recruiting prospective law students. This temporary position is effective from August to November and will be compensated at a rate of $23.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Represent the School of Law at local, state, and national events.
- Operate a vehicle to perform event-related duties.
- Counsel prospective students in person, by telephone, and through e‑mail regarding the admissions process and program of study.
- Conduct follow‑up contacts with prospective students.
- Manipulate, analyze, and interpret current, historical, and comparative data to produce reports, inform decisions, and guide actions.
- Provide verbal and/or written activity updates for events attended.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, institutional, and accrediting agency policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law (no prior experience required).
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Texas Class “C” driver’s license within 30 days of employment.
- Personable, energetic, and capable of articulating experiences at TAMU Law positively.
- Ability to multi‑task and work cooperatively with others.
