Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented legal professional to join our legal team. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and supporting corporate governance functions. This position is ideal for a common law-qualified junior solicitor (0–2 years PQE) or an experienced commercial paralegal with strong contract expertise and interest in working within a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting, advising and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including supply and distribution agreements, marketing and sponsorship agreements, NDAs, and IP agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all business functions.
Conduct basic research and retrieve relevant case laws, statutes, and regulations.
Drive the implementation of the Legal SOP across all business functions to ensure legal risks are identified and effectively managed in a timely manner.
Stay updated on changes to UAE legal requirements and regulations, ensuring the company’s operations adhere to the latest requirements.
Assist with corporate governance, including preparing board materials and shareholder communications and liaising with various registration authorities.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Common law qualified junior solicitor (0-2 years PQE) or paralegal with substantive commercial contracts experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Â
Good commercial acumen, being able to identify legal and commercial risks and provide solution driven advice in a user-friendly format.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage a large and varied workload.
Resilient, enthusiastic and able to deliver results under pressure.Â
Substantive understanding of wholesale distribution, D2C and/or automotive industry.
