The Main Event: What You’ll Drive, Build, and Own
- Draft, review, and revise commercial contracts, NDAs, engagement letters, and other legal documents
- Support the legal team with corporate governance matters, compliance requirements, and regulatory filings
- Manage and organize the company’s legal documentation and contract database
- Conduct legal research on topics relevant to the proptech industry, including data privacy, digital transactions, real estate and property law, and central bank regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, HR, Operations) to provide legal input on business and people initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and assist in the preparation of compliance reports
- Handle due diligence documentation for partnerships and corporate transactions
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as city councils, trade registries, social security offices, and courts
- Monitor and report on relevant legislative and regulatory changes affecting the company
The Perfect Match: What It Takes to Succeed at Huspy
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited university + a Master’s in Law (Acceso a la Abogacía)
- Registered member of a Bar Association in Spain
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm or within a multinational in-house legal team in the real estate industry
- Strong understanding of contract law and corporate law; knowledge of real estate law is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Previous experience in a start-up environment is a plus
