Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury and litigation to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with case management, legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation while ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement.
Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research and gather supporting case law, statutes, and medical records.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial preparation materials.
Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and court dates.
Support attorneys in settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury and litigation.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
Paralegal certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court filings, and personal injury law.
Proficiency in case management software, legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
