Innovative Driven is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join the team in the NYC office of one of our most well-respected law firm clients! This paralegal will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's healthcare practice and will facilitate seamless operations through various responsibilities.

The firm is flexible for a hybrid arrangement after the first 90 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and filing of corporate documents, including UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, bylaws, operating agreements, and reports.
  • Support attorneys with healthcare mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, corporate restructurings, and dissolutions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence for corporate healthcare transactions.
  • Assist with healthcare entity formations, state licensing, and regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and third parties to ensure timely processing of documents.
  • Prepare and review healthcare-related contracts.
  • Conduct and compile legal research related to healthcare compliance and regulations.
  • Assist with client correspondence, notarization, and document execution.
  • Document preparation, presentations, and case management.
  • Maintain filing systems and handle confidential healthcare compliance information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in a law firm.
  • Experience in corporate M&A and healthcare transactions (including contracts, corporate entities, and regulatory compliance).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe, and document management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team and with attorneys and support staff.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential healthcare compliance information.
