No prior employment law or wage & hour experience is required. All training is provided in-house.

THE PRACTICE
Our client focuses specifically on plaintiff-side Class Action Wage & Hour matters, representing employees in complex cases involving California wage and hour laws.
Junior Associates may have the opportunity to develop within one of two specialized teams:
Litigation Team
Work alongside experienced Class Action attorneys handling cases throughout the litigation lifecycle. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to:
- Class Action Wage & Hour litigation
- Pleadings and motion practice
- Written discovery and discovery strategy
- Legal research and substantive writing
- Depositions and case preparation
- Class certification issues
- Case strategy and analysis
- Settlement preparation
- Working directly with senior attorneys on complex matters
Mediation Team
Develop experience on the resolution and settlement side of sophisticated Class Action Wage & Hour matters, including:
- Preparing matters for mediation
- Analyzing claims, damages, exposure, and case value
- Drafting mediation-related materials
- Reviewing payroll, timekeeping, and employment records
- Assisting with settlement strategy
- Working with senior attorneys throughout negotiations
- Developing a strong understanding of how complex Class Actions are evaluated and resolved
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- California Bar admission
- Junior-level attorney ready to accelerate their career
- No prior employment law experience required
- No prior Class Action Wage & Hour experience required
- Attorneys transitioning from other practice areas are encouraged to apply
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Coachable, ambitious, and eager to learn
- Desire to develop expertise within Class Action Wage & Hour law
