Law firm is looking for an experienced IR specialist.
Position Info:
Must have a completed degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Must own a car.
Ability to handle Employment Equity and Submissions.
Fluent in speaking, reading, and understanding Afrikaans and English.
Requirements:
5 years’ experience in IR and CCMA matters.
In-depth knowledge of LRA, BCEA, CCMA, bargaining council, and relevant case law.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Fluent in English and at least one other official language.
Own car and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
Handle matters related to misconduct, poor work performance, incapacity, retrenchments, grievance meetings, collective bargaining, CCMA, DRC, and Bargaining Council.
Ensure IR-related company policy and procedures are up to date.
Maintain proper records of all IR-related matters.
Draft documents for CCMA, DRC, and Bargaining Council matters.
Attend CCMA, DRC, and Bargaining Council proceedings.
Facilitate and maintain good relationships with unions and union officials.
Draft opinions on industrial relations/labor matters.
Coordinate with instructed attorneys for labor court matters.
