Job Description
- Serve as legal counsel for company’s IP division; provide counseling on all aspects of IP related legal issues including asset management, dispute resolution and litigation.
- Serve as main point of contact and manage all day to day activities in complex patent litigation and pre-litigation disputes; partner with outside counsel to take an active role in dispute management; develop practical approaches to mitigating risks and resolving disputes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, business and other corporate functions in driving global IP goals and strategies.
Main Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of in-house or law firm experience, experience with the technology sector and with patent litigation preferred
- LLM or JD degree from accredited US law school or equivalent degree from other English speaking jurisdiction
- Professional fluency in English and Mandarin
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, balance competing priorities, and simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive projects
