We’re hiring an International Contract Manager

Are you ready to take your legal career beyond traditional boundaries and step into a truly international driven role? We’re looking for a dynamic and versatile International Contract Manager to join our lean Legal & Corporate Affairs team, working in close collaboration with and reporting directly to the Senior Legal Counsel, supporting operations across multiple regions in a fast-paced global environment.

🌐 About the Role

This is not just a contracts role — it’s a strategic, hands-on position combining contract management with legal administrative and broader business support, where you will act as a key partner to legal, commercial, operations, and leadership teams globally. As part of a small and agile legal team, you will be supporting the Senior Legal Counsel in day-to-day legal and operational matters, while helping ensure that our contractual frameworks, governance practices, and compliance standards enable sustainable growth across international markets.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Commercial Support

You will take an active role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including:

  • Freight forwarding & logistics contracts
  • Transportation, warehousing & distribution agreements
  • Customer, vendor & procurement contracts
  • NDAs, service agreements, and consultancy contracts

Beyond drafting, you will:

  • Drive contract lifecycle management, including renewals and amendments
  • Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks with practical solutions
  • Ensure all agreements align with regulatory standards and internal policies

Corporate Governance & Regional Coordination

You will contribute to governance across multiple jurisdictions by:

  • Assisting with board resolutions, filings, and corporate secretarial matters
  • Maintaining corporate records, licenses, and statutory registers
  • Liaising with external advisors, regulators, and company secretaries
  • Supporting the implementation of governance best practices across regional entities

Compliance & Risk Management

You will help strengthen the company's compliance culture by:

  • Supporting implementation of compliance frameworks and internal policies
  • Monitoring regulatory developments across trade, logistics, and corporate environments
  • Assisting with due diligence, audits, and compliance reporting
  • Helping ensure smooth and compliant cross-border operations

Cross-Functional Legal, Operational & Administrative Support

As part of a small legal team, you will have broad exposure, assisting the Senior Legal Counsel across business functions, including:

  • Supporting HR on employment-related documentation and policy matters
  • Coordinating insurance portfolio activities (renewals, claims, broker liaison)
  • Contributing to strategic projects and operational initiatives
  • Facilitating efficient document management and internal approvals
  • Supporting the administrative aspects of legal work, including preparing and organizing documents, printing, managing signatures, and handling mailing and courier deliveries.
  • Helping maintain structured process and organized systems, supporting the effectiveness of a lean legal function.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a proactive, highly adaptable professional with a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset who thrives in a lean, fast-paces environment and enjoys working closely with senior legal leadership:

✔ Minimum 5 years experience in contract management, legal operations, or corporate administration

✔ Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environments is highly valued

✔ Strong understanding of commercial contracts, governance, and compliance practices

✔ Ability to manage both strategic and administrative tasks, with hands-on and solution-oriented mindset

✔ Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, international setting

✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

✔ Fluent in English (additional Asian languages are a strong advantage)
