Our family-oriented firm is seeking full and part-time skilled Real Estate and / or Estate Planning Attorneys to join our growing legal team. Ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds in real estate and estates law, with a focus on drafting and grinding out work. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, the ability to handle feedback, and a willingness to work with our team of legal and business professionals. You may work on-site, hybrid, or remotely. We manage by productivity and performance – not presence. Successful applicants will be responsible for serving clients with matters involving estate planning, probates, trusts, guardianships, and various transactional real estate needs.
Duties
Provide legal counsel, draft, review, and negotiate transactions related to estate planning and real estate matters.
Conduct legal research and stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with other attorneys and team members in the firm on matters as needed.
Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Bill, capture, and track time accurately.
Supervise and delegate work to legal team.
Prefer
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice in Texas
Proven experience in real estate or estate planning law – other complimentary areas are a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and manage multiple matters simultaneously
