15-attorney insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced TEXAS Insurance Defense Litigation Attorneys to join their KINGWOOD, TX team.
We will consider HYBRID REMOTE or 100% REMOTE we find you are experienced enough for our liking.
Should have substantial experience with TEXAS First Party Property Insurance Defense cases – but we will still interview you if you only have B.I. or GL Defense experience AS LONG AS you’re willing to learn and handle 1st Party Property cases. We handle the defense of homeowner’s claims for very reputable insurance carriers in TX, including hurricane, storm, wind, water, fire, roofing, pipes, and other severe damage to residential and commercial properties. Will consider attorneys with ANY OTHER INSURANCE DEFENSE experience.
***IDEAL Candidates have 2+ years of Insurance Defense Litigation in TX.***
DUTIES: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, preparing an initial status report summarizing liability / damages and exposure, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials, and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same. Should have experience preparing cases for trial (actual trial experience is preferred and will be taken into consideration for your salary!).
