This position reports to a Practice Leader and involves handling various insurance legal issues, representing TD Insurance in litigation matters involving claims for damages and personal injuries. You’ll utilize your legal expertise to develop strategies, draft legal documents, and stay updated on legal developments to safeguard our valued clients’ interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop legal strategies for cases and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients and analysts
• Conduct questioning, applications, and mediations
• Draft legal documents and pleadings as required
• Research applicable laws to support cases
Requirements:
• Completed law school with LLB, bar admission in Alberta
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
• Knowledge of court documents and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
