Hiring Company Overview:
Tierra Verdosa Services Corp. (TVSC), a wholly owned subsidiary of San Miguel Properties, Inc. (SMPI), was established to handle all the land acquisition and consolidation requirements of the other business units within the San Miguel Group of Companies.
The Legal Associate will provide support to the Legal Services Department in various tasks related to operations.
Duties and Responsibility:
- Identifies and mitigates legal risk in acquisition activities;
- Interprets laws, rulings, and regulations for acquisitions;
- Drafts contracts pertaining to the acquisitions, and routines leases and amendments;
- Manages regulatory and compliance-related services;
- Represents the company in purchases and sales of properties;
- Provides legal advice and legal assistance to the Company
- Assist in the completion of documents required in the filling expropriation cases
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor
- Licensed to practice law in the Philippines
- At least 2-year experience in land acquisition (preferred)
