Location: Remote, with preference for Houston, Texas ( TOYO SOLAR TEXAS LLC, 6115 Greens Road, Humble, TX 77396)
Salary: $160-$190K
2. Role Purpose
The In-House Counsel will provide day to day legal support across commercial contracting, supply chain, and trade and regulatory compliance, related to solar module manufacturing and sales.
3. Core Responsibilities
· Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including MSAs, supply agreements, purchase orders, NDAs, and logistics contracts.
· Supporting trade, tariff, and customs matters including AD CVD and related import compliance issues.
· Advising on solar module manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution issues.
· Supporting domestic content, FEOC, and tax credit related certifications and compliance efforts.
· Handling routine legal matters currently outsourced to outside counsel.
· Coordinating with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed.
· Advising on Intellectual Property matters.
4. Candidate Profile
· Juris Doctor and active U.S. bar admission
· Approximately 3+ years of legal experience
· Prior in-house experience preferred
· Solar manufacturing or energy supply chain experience is required
· Intellectual Property experience is plus but not required.
· Practical, efficient, and business oriented
5. Hiring Notes
· Position will report directly to the Legal Director
· Remote flexibility allows broader candidate pool, with Houston preferred for energy experience
· Role is designed to scale with business growth
