We are assisting a regional law firm with their need for a contract immigration paralegal for their New York City office. This project could last several months.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and employment immigration matters, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, labor certification, compliance, and global mobility. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with a wide range of corporate and employment immigration matters, including H-1B, H-2, L-1, TN, E-2, E-3, PERM, Physician and Nursing Visas, and many more
Manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Assist with preparing all documents for court hearings, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate and employment immigration law.
Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong client service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to work in the office full time
Must be able to start immediately
