We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Immigration Associate to join our legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of immigration-related legal matters, providing strategic counsel to clients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies
- Advise clients on immigration procedures, eligibility requirements, and potential legal options
- Draft legal motions, pleadings, contracts, and other documents necessary for case progression
- Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems while maintaining accurate records
- Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, and negotiations related to immigration matters
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation cases involving employment law, family law, or securities law when applicable
- Stay current on changes in immigration law, procedural law knowledge, and relevant statutes to ensure compliance and effective advocacy
Experience
- Proven experience in immigration law with a strong understanding of procedural law and statutory research methods
- Demonstrated ability to handle personal injury cases or general & commercial litigation is a plus
- Experience conducting court depositions and trial preparation enhances candidacy
- Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis is essential
- Prior law office experience involving client communication, legal writing, and legal drafting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers’ compensation law, employment law case experience, and personal injury law will be considered advantageous
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent writing skills are vital for success in this role

Pay: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
