🔍 About the Role
Belgier HR Services is recruiting a Legal & Compliance Head on behalf of a leading client in the Cyber Security and Digital Content Protection industry.
We are looking for an experienced Legal & Compliance professional to oversee legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and enforcement coordination activities related to a large-scale anti-piracy monitoring programme.
In this role, you will supervise legal analysts and compliance teams responsible for preparing takedown notices, enforcement documentation, regulatory submissions, and legal evidence reports associated with piracy incidents. You will also ensure that digital evidence generated by monitoring operations is maintained in a legally defensible and compliant manner.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
• Supervise legal documentation workflows related to piracy detection and enforcement cases
• Ensure compliance with copyright laws, digital regulations, and content protection frameworks
• Coordinate preparation and review of takedown notices for piracy platforms and service providers
• Oversee regulatory communication, compliance reporting, and enforcement support documentation
• Review digital evidence records to ensure legal admissibility and documentation accuracy
• Guide monitoring and operational teams on legal compliance procedures during piracy investigations
• Maintain legal records, documentation frameworks, and compliance governance processes
• Advise operational leadership on legal implications related to digital monitoring and enforcement activities
• Supervise legal analysts and compliance documentation teams involved in anti-piracy operations
• Ensure internal legal procedures and documentation standards are consistently followed
🛠️ Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of copyright law, intellectual property regulations, and digital media protection frameworks
• Experience handling legal documentation and regulatory compliance related to online platforms and digital content distribution
• Familiarity with takedown notice procedures, enforcement documentation, and compliance reporting practices
• Ability to supervise legal analysts and documentation teams involved in enforcement support operations
• Strong legal review, documentation management, and compliance governance capabilities
• Understanding of digital piracy ecosystems, online platforms, and content enforcement procedures
• Excellent analytical, communication, and legal coordination skills
• Ability to work closely with operational, intelligence, and monitoring teams
• Strong attention to detail and regulatory documentation accuracy
• Proficiency in Hindi (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
🎯 Experience
• 10+ years of total professional experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Legal & Compliance roles
• Experience handling copyright law, intellectual property matters, or digital compliance environments
• Experience in media law, cyber law, online platform compliance, or digital enforcement support preferred
🎓 Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory
• Specialization in Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, or Digital Compliance is preferred
• Master’s degree in Law or relevant legal certifications will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal enforcement processes
