Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Freelance Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team on a flexible, project-based basis. In this role, you will provide essential legal support for review of our project / contract documents related to our organization – and industrial electrical contractor – and general contractors and / or direct clients
Your expertise will help streamline clegal research, as well as draft documents, and assist with client communications. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment. Experience
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple practice areas including construction, electrical, and general contractors will be of most importance
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with document review platforms like Litigation support systems.
- Knowledge of procedural law principles across various jurisdictions; experience supporting general & commercial litigation is advantageous.
- Exceptional research skills combined with the ability to interpret complex legal information accurately.
