A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate Attorney to join its growing Dallas office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on a broad range of sophisticated corporate finance, private credit, leveraged finance, and restructuring transactions within a highly respected national finance practice.
The Role
- Senior and mezzanine debt transactions
- Asset-based lending facilities
- Cash flow lending transactions
- Sponsor finance and acquisition financings
- Unitranche and junior capital transactions
- Private credit and direct lending matters
- Workout and restructuring transactions
- Drafting and negotiating complex financing documents
- Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
- Collaboration with a sophisticated national finance team
Ideal Background
- Approximately 3–5 years of corporate finance experience
- Experience with leveraged finance, asset-based lending, sponsor finance, private credit, or restructuring transactions strongly preferred
- Experience gained at a large law firm finance practice preferred
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school required
- Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Texas

Compensation
Expected compensation ranges from approximately $250,000 – $365,000+ depending on class year, experience, and overall qualifications.
